TJM Behavioral Health – Legal Notice

TJM Behavioral Health provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in accordance with applicable federal and State of Alaska laws and regulations, as well as the ethical standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

All services are individualized based on clinical assessment and are delivered under the supervision of a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). While ABA is an evidence-based practice, outcomes may vary and are not guaranteed.

TJM Behavioral Health maintains strict confidentiality of all client information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Client information will only be released with proper authorization or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

Clients and guardians have the right to:

Participate in treatment planning and goal development

Receive services in a safe, respectful, and ethical manner

Refuse or discontinue services at any time

Request access to records in accordance with applicable laws

TJM Behavioral Health complies with all non-discrimination laws and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, religion, or any other protected status.

All staff, including BCBAs, BCaBAs, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), practice within their scope of certification and under appropriate supervision as required by the BACB and state regulations.
